We hear a lot about story
and it’s ability to connect
but how do we tell great stories?
A great story follows a structure
A lot of a story’s power resides in how we use the structure
true for James Bond as it is for Little Red Riding Hood
I know we often struggle as technical experts
because we tend to go straight to the solution
which kills the story
To address this I created a story telling workshop
initially for law firm Fieldfisher
It’s a half day and in it we get to tell our stories
and to refine them learning the key rules of story
Now all I hear are stories of attendees
who are busy telling their stories
communicating their messages and winning business
